What’s your story?

I started taking pictures of friends in 2002 and photographed my first wedding in 2003.  I was supposed to be assisting another photographer at a friend’s wedding, but the wedding had to get moved to a sooner date at the last minute and the first photographer couldn’t make it, so I was on my own!  Sink or swim!

What kind of equipment do you use?

I carry with me three Canon digital SLR cameras, three external flashes, and four high quality lenses, so I have plenty of backup equipment in case of an equipment emergency.

How long do we have to wait to see our pictures?

For portrait sessions your photos will be available in about 2 weeks.  Wedding photos are usually ready in about 4 weeks.

Can we purchase a disc of the images?

Yes you can!  If you purchase the disc of images, you will have permission to use the images for personal use.  When having your images printed, I’d prefer if you only used a professional printing lab so that the images will look their best.  I recommend www.mpix.com for high quality, professional prints at a very affordable price.  On the disc, you get all of the full size, high resolution, edited images.  For portrait sessions I usually end up with about 20-40 images.  For weddings it depends on how long I am there but for 6 hours of coverage I typically end up with about 500-800 images.

Do you do destination weddings?

I sure do!  Please contact me for pricing!  I’m often flexible with the pricing if you are getting married in a place that would make a great vacation spot for me and my hubby!

What do you do when you are not doing video or photography?

I love ballroom dancing!  I also take care of my high maintenance, but lovable, rescued poodle-beagle mix, Rivers.  I like watching romantic comedies, reading Christian books about marriage, and playing board games with friends!  And above all, I love Jesus!
